Hotohms™ Molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heating element is an electric element principally containing molybdenum disilicide for use in industrial and laboratory furnace.
It is made of molybdenum disilicide based cermets MOSI2 heating elements withstand oxidation at very high temperatures. Their surface is protected by of a light layer of silica glass that forms when they are exposed to oxygen at elevated temperatures.So this kind of element has unique effect for resisting oxidization in the high temperature. It is used to the highest temperature up to 1800℃ during oxidizing atmosphere. According to your request, we can be made into rod, U type, W type, U type right angle shapes and so on . MoSi2 heating element can usually make use of furnace temperature from 1300℃ to 1800℃.
